Everything You Need To Catch The LA Kings In Action. Don't Miss A Second Of The Fastest Sport On Ice!
The LA Kings are a fast paced, hard hitting team, fighting their way through the battlegrounds of the Western Conference. The team responsible for bringing legendary hockey great, Wayne Gretzky to Southern California, now hosts stars such as Anze Kopitar, Alexander Frolov and Ryan Smith.
Hungry for their first Stanley Cup championship these players push themselves to the limit creating an action packed and unforgettable hockey experience.
While finding tickets to the LA Kings is not all that difficult, there certainly are easier ways than others. Since Staples Center rarely sells out for King's games buying your tickets at the box office is always an option. However, being huge hockey fans ourselves and speaking from experience, the lines can be extremely long.
If this is what you're gonna do, we suggest getting there early. There's a great sports bar right across the street to pass the time with a few pre game pints. Of course you can also find your tickets at ticketmaster, but before you do we suggest you take a look at these other two options where you can find better deals and more choice on available seating:
- This is one of the best kept secrets in LA. Goldstar.com offers amazing deals on almost all Los Angeles Attractions. It's free to sign up, literally takes only thirty seconds, and it usually saves you 50% off your ticket price. You should definitely take advantage of this, it's by far our favorite way of getting tickets in Los Angeles. We use them ourselves!
- Ticketmaster usually sells out fast and you don't have much control over where you sit. So if you're looking for tickets to a big game that's already sold out, Stubhub.com is a great site! It's a subsidiary of Ebay that allows you to find both last minute tickets and elite seating.
If you're thinking of getting decked out at the game, with jerseys, hats etc... Prices at Staples Center are not surprisingly through the roof! So a better idea might be ordering ahead of time.
You can literally save up to 75% on exactly the same merchandise. And trust us, we've been there, after a few beers go down, that $275 Rob Scuderi jersey from the Staples Center store suddenly doesn't look like such a bad deal!!
In terms of getting to Staples Center, taking a cab can be expensive unless you're coming from downtown. A great alternative is the
metro red line.
It can take you from the Valley, Hollywood and other spots to about 7 minutes walk from Staples Center. Just get off at the 7th street station and follow the signs!
Here's a map of the arena and the immediate area to help.
However, if you are renting a car for your stay in LA, here's a link to our car rental page where you can find our favorite companies. Here you can find any car to suit your tastes, and as always we'll keep you up do date with any deals and promotions they have going.
